It started with one thirsty dog and a soaked backpack
Milly is the reason Pawb exists. She's our dog, and she lives for her walks along the Sunshine Coast: beach tracks, headland trails, the long way round to the cafΓ©.
Queensland sun is no joke, though. Halfway through every walk Milly would be panting, and we'd be juggling a drink bottle, a floppy collapsible bowl and the lead, usually spilling half the water on the ground or inside the bag. On the days we forgot the bowl, it was cupped hands or the grimy shared water bowl outside a cafΓ©.
One afternoon, watching Milly drink from a bowl that a hundred other dogs had already used, we asked a simple question: why isn't the bowl just part of the bottle?
That question turned into sketches, then prototypes, then a lot of testing (Milly was very generous with her opinions). The goal was simple: one bottle you can clip on and forget about, with a bowl that folds out in seconds, keeps water cool in insulated stainless steel, and drains any leftovers back in so nothing gets wasted.
The result is Pawb, and Milly still tests every new version first.

We redesigned it again and again until the bowl folded out in seconds, the water stayed cool and leftovers drained back in. Milly signed off on every version.

Pawb is Australian-owned and run from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Hot days and dog-friendly beaches make it a pretty good place to test a dog water bottle.
After Aussie dog owners made Pawb their walking essential, we took it to the United States. The team and the standards are the same, and so is Milly's seal of approval, now for dogs on both sides of the Pacific.
